ok, you got a point. On my falcon the keyboard was defect ant at the time I didn't have any schematics. I heard the MFP chip had something to do with assigning irq's also to the keyboard's proc, so I swaped the MFP (44pins flat packed smd if I recall it correctly) and that was not the one! Turned out to be a simple defect coil near the keyboard connector! I figured that out once I saw the schematics. I felt realy stupid.
Anyway, I don't know were to start.
Checking the power as jo mentioned is a goo idea. I assume you verified that the monitor isn't defect (cable?).
Still, I would like to ask you: look at the expention bus (no the memory expentsion; the other one in which you can put a CT2, CT60, framegrabber etc; the one on the left). Is there a jumperon it? If it isn't you just removed too much ;-) . I did that too once. My philips monitor turns black, but my nec monitor turns white/green (depending on the setting of the briliance) so I dissagree with paranoid saying "No, the missing jumper would just lead to a black screen.
A green screen sounds pretty much like "Game over" to me."
I would like to help you. keep us informed, people might come up with other suggestions.
