Hoi Havoc!
Well there are many patches for hardware and software incompatablities on Aminet. Most of your problems would be fixed quite easily. I remember the day when I first bought my old A1200 and I couldn`t play half of my A2000 games collection due to bad programming. But now I can just download an installer/patcher of every game I owned and install a patched version on hardrive.
Sorry I said: "people like you", because you said the old workench was confusing to you.
About those millions of machines I was talking about. Note that these estimated figures also include Amiga technology based internet appliances. Which will become an emerging market. It is forecasted that by 2002 there would be more internet appliances connected to the internet than PCs. If Amiga`s appliances are superoir to others then they will get a very large portion of that market. Note that the Amiga2 will not be a closed system like Amiga was for many years. Amiga says that there will be many 3rd party productions.
