Portables. Show me an ST laptop faster than 8MHz and I'll show you a PC owner who backs up his hard drive every night.
Ok, I will send you instructions on bumping the ST Book to 16mhz
RE:
With emulation you can have a silly fast Atari portable with an 800x600 16 colour display, as much RAM as you wish and will work with your Atari Modems and printers, even hard drives (in some cases).
I myself do not give a fat flying F::k about portables, so, I will not say f all about them. Obviously you do, so whatever tickles your nads then eh?
RE:
But, erm... I can't think of any other reason. That's why I own all the Atari machines...
Nuff said.
Oh, and erm, no you dont, but I am just in an arguing mood right now
Actually, with having access to the serial port, and also the BIG issue with Emulation not having Midi, why has no one mentioned the fact that you can use BreakThru Plus, or CuBase and use the serial port as an extra midi port, and just have that, and not the internal one?
Have to admit, I have not actually tried that idea, I just had it, but I will give it a go as soon as I can get Effing Win2K to read a floppy
