Perhaps you connected the cable wrong-slued to your drive...
On the PC, when you put the cable with the wrong side in, all data gets
destroyed, simply by putting the disk into the drive...
On the PC you can see this fault, because then the floppy-led is on all the time, but since the ST is searching for a disk right after power-on it could be possible that you cannot see this...
Perhaps thatīs the fault and since you said, that you also cannot read this disk in the old drive any longer... - or did I misunderstand you and the old drive isnīt reading ANY disk now?
