yes, that could be a danger to the whole project... But: The current plan now is to only implement the most needed stuff (ddr control, screen refresh, videl registers) before we produce the card, because extra stuff can be added later to the FPGA firmware, and written to the onboard flash by the users. So different extra functions (super blitter, mpeg, 3D) don't have to be selected and implemented before we sell the card. But unless we choose a very big and expensive FPGA, we won't have space in it to implement all extra features, perhaps only one of them.
