With some luck you can speed up a TT/CaTTamaran from the original 16/48MHz to 24/72MHz. Ofcourse, if you're happy with a (very slightly) slower CPU you don't need a CaTTamaran to speed up the TT - "just" replace the original 32MHz oscillator with a 40 or 48Mhz one and patch the ACIA's (like on the Falcon or ST). This will speed up the TT by 25 or 50%.
I've experimented a bit with this on my own TT, and it worked fine except that I couldn't get a picture on the monitor... I don't know if the faster clock messed up the display, or if it was just the crappy monitor that couldn't handle the higher frequencies. The Crazy Dots worked fine though.
