Hi,
I forgot to mention; I actually wrote the software using the STEEM emulator, and I used the internal YM soundchip for testing.
This means you can turn your ST into a raw monosynth ( 2 osc (detune) + sub osc).
Just connect your ST to a midi synth, add some distortion and delay and you have the really scary monosynth ;-)
