Quite frankly, I had this same thing happen to me once before...
What I did to solve it was to get the ICD PRO driver utilities.
They sem to recognise almost everything! And the ICD utils seem to be able to know if we are scsi, ide, sasi, eide, dvd, or whatever!
(I must give credit where it's due, the German HDDRIVER
does, in fact, seem to directly support DVD ****READING****
THIS DOES NOT MEAN PLAYBACK!)
