8 Gig is your hdd driver limit. Get a newer wersion of driver software. I'm using 40GB disk and all of it.

You do not need to set anything on Falcon's mainboard, but keep in mind that some harddisk do not like to live with other ones on the same cable ;) Esp. Conner and Caviar are tricky ones.
