I'm not quite sure I know what you are trying to say there. Is English a second language for you Oliver?
There are two seperate issues
(1)how much it would cost
(2)how much you're willing to pay
You said how much you thought it would cost (1), I said I didn't agree (1). I thought we were talking about 1.
This post of yours implies that I was talking about 2. Is there some confusion here?
I don't really want to argue back and forth about this - I thought I stated my case pretty clearly in a previous post. I said:
>>>well...i think it depends on what you use
>ataris for. Of course you will always
>be able to get a far better PC for
>your dollar than either an existing atari
>or a new atari upgrade. But of the small
>atari community left, I don't think we're
>staying for the power and value for money!
>I'm not suggesting at all that this board
>is meant to expand the atari community and
>make it competitive with the the PC again.
>That is ridiculous.
>I'm just interested in it - this board has
>been designed, which I only just found out
>in this post, and I thought you might be
>able to make a few more from the schematics
>seeing as they are very rare and
>(apparently) very expensive.
>Why? The same reason vezzs hardware hacks
>exist, with all sorts of "stupid" upgrades.
>Just because...
