No, I am afraid you are right.
This goes back to the whole problem I keep saying about Atari hardware costing so bloody much, it puts people off buying the things!
I dont know what a fair price would be though, do you?
If they sold off the motherboard only, then I think £100 it would sell fairly well, but trying for several grand for the base unit just aint going to happen!
Look at how much System Solutions are asking for any clones! - bloody hell for the same price, you could bnuild up the absolutely latest PC with the most current and up to date hardware you can get for less!

Yes, how much it will sell is all down to the price in the end, or at least thats my barrier.
I wont pay more than £200 for a falcon, the same with a TT, and I definitely will not pay more than £400 for the best clone in the world, unless its something that really will hit the spot, and from what I know, in spite of what I say, the XTOS machine just isnt going to make me empty my wallet
