Didn't it have a Ni-Cd battery as well? MDSbattery.co.uk will rebuild it using Ni-MH cells for a reasonable cost, and you'll get about 3 hours run time!

You've gotta love RISC-OS - Hit F12, type BASIC and you've got a way-cool BASIC interpreter and ARM assembler. Top stuff.
