There are three possible explanations why it boots automaticly to an app:
1. It is placed in the AUTO folder of your C: This is most likely the case. To fix it: Boot with control down, the machine will skip all AUTO programs, you can open C:/auto and rename the offending file from .prg to .prx (or anything else) then it will stop booting.
2. It's autobooting from newdesk.inf. In this case solve it like this: Boot with control down, then it will skip the newdesk.inf. Open c:/ and erase newdesk.inf you can save a new one later.
3. It's an acc-file starting. Highly unlikely, but possible. To fix it: Boot with control pressed down to skip all ACC's from loading. Open c:/ and rename the offending .acc file into .acx (or anything else) then it won't load the next boot.
About OS; TOS is built-in, needs no installation.
