Aha, but here's where it gets weirder..
Without NVDI: same damn thing!
Without CentScreen: "Format..." Options Dialog works. APPLICAT app installer draws a window but locks up whenever you click on a control in its window.
Without NVDI and CentScreen: APPLICAT does the same thing, but the "Format..." Options dialog shuts down MGFORMAT with the same #-69 error.
I'm using Cécile now.. I tried disabling everything with a clean install. No joy... similar results.
