Hi galen
Tried what you said. If I boot up with the hard drive utilities disk in A the Stacy boots up with only drives A&B on the desktop and does not access the hard drive at all. I take it the auto folder on the floppy would tend to access the hard drive.
If I install another icon on the desktop and call it C hard disk, and try to access it then a message comes up and says the drive you specified does not exist.So it looks as though the hard drive or associated circuitry has a problem. How can I prove if its the drive itself or something else.
