Hello Jon,
I had the nearly same problem, too.
I solved it this way:
First use AHDI (Falconīs original Atari HDDriver) to recognise the hdd, then install AHDI on part C (maybe you have to format it before).
After this try to start HDDriver, which should now recognise the drive.
Then format the drive with HDDriver (ahdi is now deleted on drive c) and install HDDriver on your drive.
Thatīs the way I solved this problem, maybe another way is faster!
