MEMORY SNAPSHOTS!!!
When programming, programms crash sometimes. On an emulator you can take a memory snapshot and try to run the program. If it crashes just load the snapshot and noo need for reboot.
Different TOS versions works different sometimes, just change TOS rom in the emulator and you have no need to buy 5 different STs just to test your software. Same goes for memory configurations.
Now when even fullscreens and syncscrollers works I can even code demos in emulators and just drag my real STs out for the final testing.
