I think we have to accept that in spite of many people saying that Emulation is better than the real, thing, its simply not true!
Ok if you want crappy ST emulation, then yes, but when it comes to such things as wanting to use Magic 5 or 6 then we are stuffed, so this also means that we can emulate old crap well, but not the decent stuff.
I have tried and tried all I can to get Magic 6 to run flawlessly, but the fact remains that I simply cannot!
I can get it to run on a virtual disk good enough, but then I am stuck on using ST screens, and no floppy or CD, or, I can run it using Windows Filesystem, where the Floppy works, but I cannot save anything!
EMulation?? balls to that!
However, if anyone can point me to an emulator that will allow me to use the Magic 6 RAM file, along with either Windows Fileystem or virtual Disks ( dont care which ) and also to have good graphic modes, then I am all for it, until then, emulation just isnt good enough.
