Author: Damion (dial81-131-96-186.in-addr.btopenworld.com) Date: 03-15-2003 07:03 BGM is an extention of GEM type Partitions I cannot be sure right now ( 5am and all that ) but its not too different to FAT12 / FAT16 / FAT32 on PC's You got GEM, BGM ( Sort of Big GEM ) and XGM ( Sort of Extended Big GEM ) So, its just letting you have bigger Drives thats all! If I am right, then GEM = FAT12 BGM = FAT16 XGM = FAT32 But I am probably wrong? If I am, its close. Mr Doyle is right... Diamond Edge does try to fix the bootsector. Considering you have no other viable option, its probably worth it.
