No, you didn't. That machine hasn't been on the net for two years or so.
> This is your isnt it?
It was the machine I used at my previous job.
Nowadays, my web site is at http://www.klockars.net

You're saying that you actually get the correct screen image, only severely squashed?
If so, that's interesting.
If the drawing is working OK, so should the setup (and it's pretty unlikely that a random setup problem would cause anything even approaching an actual screen image to show up).
Perhaps there's some kind of problem with the power supply to the ATI card. I'll check with Sven if he's run into anything like what you are describing.
> Could it be the Eclipse adapter itself?
If the tests pass and you get stuff drawn, that is not very likely, IMO. Unless you count the PCI power supply, that is (see above).
> Yes, and I am seriously thinking that this is the problem... That or the SCSI Type connection anyway... I have since gone through the wires, and they are all checking out ok?
An actual screen image, with decent drawing, mostly rules out that sort of problem.

Understandably.
> Especially as I have had it going, I have even managed to get Magic running ( Although with some issues like crashing when I try to move an Icon or Window, or corrupt colours on the icons, and it displays some garbage when I move a window in GEM ( Not Magic ) ) So I knew I was the track, but then why would it fail???
I'd say your current problem points to some kind of power supply issue. That might possibly have been the problem before too, since some graphics operations will work the RageII chip and the RAMs harder.
> I have had plenty of help from a couple of you good people, and going by the ammount of help I have had, I would now say that it simply cannot be a software issue, but a harware one! - maybe its my Falcon?
You're using a standard Falcon, with the original PSU? I guess it's possible that it is not capable of delivering enough power.
You might want to check that out.
