Its possible that cubase got corrupted.
Try reinstalling it from disks.

I dont think you fried the dongle by resetting the machine, but its a possibility if you quickly cycled the power switch.

There is a small fuse on the motherboard (Falcon) check that this hasnt blown.

Failing that you can get a crack for cubase that will make it run without the dongle.

Which version of cubase and what atari are you using?
