That's a pretty big call, Shaktiman. I don't mean to be rude, but I think if you don't know the answer to some of those questions then perhaps you aren't quite ready to take on a project like this?
If you want to upgrade an ST m'board and stick it in the Quadra case (I'm not going to ask why?!), you could check out Vezzs' Hardware hacks at http://vezz.atari.org
You have mem upgrades, serial port, video, scsi and ide controllers and loads of other stuff there.
I remember distinctly another page where you could download the schematics to STE, STFM, FALCON, Mega STE and TTs, but I'm not sure where that was. Spend some quality time with Google.com and I'm sure you'll dig it up ;o)
