The cracked Cubase Falcon won't record at a frequency other than 32KHz, because that's the clock that's generated by the Falcon's crystal (or something). The Dongle also provides an external clock so you can do 48KHz.
At least that's been my experience (with a stock Atari machine).
I was running a cracked version of cubase 3 on my STE and it used to crash all the time...
