Take a look at the Quick FAQ.

STiK and NOS are rather outdated nowadays. You'd be lucky to find a provider that offers a SLIP connection nowadays. You need STinG for a freeware PPP connection.

There are also several commercial offers, such as CAB 2.7 with PPP Connect (this requires MiNT or MagiC), WenSuite 3 or Draconis.
