Agreed, the falcon is dog slow isnt it?
I am in two minds myself or whether to get rid of either the TT or Falcon and get the other sorted out, cos as things are, the TT is hellishly quick compared to the Falcon, however, the falcon has a graphics card ( that I can never get sorted properly ) and has a lot more future than the TT ( as things are anyway )
I have not been bothered to use the extra features of the Falcon such as MP3 ( Which is not all that clever anyway ) and so... Oh I dont know? depends on what I can get for the other!
I want a new Graphics card for the TT, or a hardware accel for the falcon, and I dont care which!
The Falcon has 14MB and the TT has 64 so they both have more than I realistically need ( although 64mb the Falcon could be nice and will be a reality with a H/W Accel wont it?
Actually the TT only has 2MB STRAM so a 10MB card would be on the cards for that.
Oh, I lent my stuff to a local guy a while back, and he checked my kit out... i swore blind that the TT had a Blitter, and the Falcon did not, however, he had a look, and he has told me that my Falcon IS slower than his, but it DOES have a blitter. He does not know why its so slow, unless its somehow not able to switch between 8 and 16 and it seems stuck on 8 perhaps? Tells me nothing? and the TT is NOT 72mhz, but 64.

I have been working on getting the Eclipse runnign on the Falcon the last few weeks, and I have Never managed a successful setup and have it reboot the next day without it failing drastically on me, so I need to et thngs organised again, and get both the TT and Falcon back up and running again, as soon as I do that, I am putting the info on my site ( or judging by the contents, should that be "Sight"? hehe )

I dont think there is much on there right now cos onc eagain, I have been messing with it, but I am working through whats rubbish, and whats real awful, and sort out what I am keeping... ( Not much I recon )
