AHDI v6 might be a better choice? It's the one shipped with Falcon and I guess that have more evolved IDE routines? Just a guess though.

It would seem I only have v6.00 left of AHDI, there are later bugfixed versions, but I reverted to HDDRIVER nearly a decade ago so I seem to have lost the AHDI updates.

Anyway, you can get AHDI 6.00 here:
ftp://ftp.atari.org/pub/essential/ahdi600.zip

I think AHDI is free and not commercial software, right? If that's not the case, please inform me so I can remove it.
