Thats not correct.
The floppy drive in a PC is set to drive B not A.
If you put one of these drives in an ST without changing the jumper on the floppy from drive select 1 to 0 the drive wont work, or it will work as drive B on the ST.
If youre lucky the jumper may be on the drive, or you may even see solder pads, if so you will be able to set the drive correctly. Use the cable that came in the ST, or if you need a new one use a PC cable but cut the drive A connector complete with twist, off, and attach the drive to the drive B connector.
