I had a bundle of different ATI RAGE Cards, and I think I will agree.
The only 2 that did attempt some display was the Rage 2
I have only managed a partially successful installation of the Eclipse / ATI and although I am pretty much 100% sure now that this is down to the PSU being none-too-clever, I cannot verify this as I just have no time at all to get down to the nitty gritty of putting a PC PSU onto the Falcon.
I am glad to hear that if anything, a Banshee would be looked at, because I did read someting about this a short while ago, and when one came up for sale, I got one just on the off chance that it was true, so who knows? Atari / Voodoo sounds great!
I just wonder what 3D is possible with just a 16mhz CPU?
Surely though, nVIDIA would be a better choice? I mean, nVIDIA have no problems porting drivers for all other O/Ses so getting the necessary info for porting to Atari would be a breeze!?
Just thoughts of course!
