Balls to him mate, I have the exact same problem and I use the ROM Card.
I have used the following:-
1.2 - ST
1.4 - MegaST
1.62 - STE
2.6 - Came on the Card
3.6 - TT
And they ALL do the same shit.
The keys rubbish,is also the same too, so you are not alone... didnt know about the ALT though, but then it is PC, so I should have guessed.
Actually, the biggest thing that got to me about him, was that when I asked him about Magic 6 support, he said what does 6 do that 4 does not, and when I told him about LongFilenames, and WinFrames and suchlike, he just startede waffling on abotu how his PC has done that for years!
This pissed me off, especially considering that it was his own software I was talking about, so you would think that he would at least put some effort into doing it properly istead of boasting how good he is, whe he so obviously does not give a shit.
He is a very intelligent person, and we had some very strong words, which I had no chance of beating him on, so he just kept putting me down. All I was trying to do, was help him out, but he just kept on belittling me, and I was sick of it all after a few days... I no longer have any confidence in what he says.
