I have to agree with you there...
a few years ago, I was saving up for some Atari bits, and while saving up, I dug into the Atari jar and ended up building a whole PC out of it, and I stil had change left over!
It was a Cyrix 333 with 32MB, 14" screen, 10GB HD and at the time, it was fairly respectable kit!
I am sure all I wanted for the Atari was RAM?
Its sometimes ridiculous the asking price of some things!
Ok, so certain thigns do make the atari a far better machine, but then again, there has always been the massive prices that atari machines have had, and its unsurprising that its got perhaps the smallest number of users ( For a real machine ) of them all.
