The LAN port is a glorified serial port... there were no Appletalk/Localtalk drivers ever really developed for it. I am in the beginning stages of developing drivers for the STE/TT/Falcon to use the port for simple networking. My software is still a ways from being finished. At this point, the best thing to use that port for is a Mac 56k modem... even that is a pain though...
