As a plain ST does not provide any batchfiles under TOS, you'll need some extra software for that.
Either you can use one of the various CLIs available. Gulam and mupfel in particular are nice, easy to use and offer batch and skripting facilities.
There are even some standalone batchfile processors available, most notably the one supplied with the orginal Atari development package with the Alcyon C compiler.
