The 16 bit colours issue is well weird.
As it is right now, it DOES display everything, but the palette is all weird, and so I cannot see whats happening?
Last night, it stopped the whole system dead just before it got to the GEM Desktop ( Nothing displayed on the VGA Screen, but the TOS screen had displayed its last message, but then it went garbaged )
Garbage on screen.
Ok, thats obvious now! - I did think of this, but then I was also thinking of VERTICAL and not Horiz... Obviously you went both! - Now that you mention it, it was ok in 1042x768 and 640x480 I am sure? - I will have a peek anyway tonight!

Yes, at the mo, its got Jinnee's PAPER-Type Wallpaper, and the Jinnee Logo!
I will kill those off to have a peek, however, the TT also uses the same piccies, but the 16 Colour ones as oopsed to the 256 colours ones, and that shows absolutely no flicker at all!
Annoyingly, the TT scrolls WebPages silky smooth, while the Falcon is jerky as hell.
The price here, is a colours trade-off still.
Even more annoying, is that GEMBench gives the Falcon 1200% and the TT only 600% so the Falcons display should be far, far better, and indeed you can see it is, but when it comes to normal use of it, its definitely NOT the case???
What did I do to get the speed a bit better?
Well, basically I was simply eperimenting with the FVDI.SYS file more than anything! - I did have the acceleration options set, and I have removed all that, I have IMGCACHE out too, but I have kept SCREENCACHE ( or vice-versa ) but TBH I dont know if they helped all that much!
I will have a check of the NVDIFIX in a few minutes, as well as the XBIOSFIX, and I will try to get a bit more done, but as it is, the Ataris are in the attic, and I only get a few minutes here and there to get it sorted ( Kids / whining missus etc )
