Adam,
I have the following setup:
Falcon (Standard system waiting for CT 60)
14 mb
20 GB HD ide 2,5"" (5 x 1 GB TOS(Magic), 512 Swap and the rest Linux partition)
2 x Scsi CD rom (Plextor 32 speed and Yamaha 4 x 4 x 16 writer)
When trying to install Debian 3.0 r1 on the Falcon the Linux system can see the 2 cdrom drives when booting. When installing the kernel and base system the installer asks for a source for installation. When I choose cdrom I have the option between the 2 drives. When choosing the system asks me to insert the Linux cd rom. When I do this the system tells me that it can't mound the cd rom (The cd rom light doesn't even blink!). I have tested a lot of combinations:
1 cd rom drive, 2 cd rom drives. Different scsi id's. Differend screen modes 640*480 16 and 256 (The Falcon scsi is much slower in 256 colours).
This had no effect at all!
I hope you have some idea's. Maybe I should try Debian 3.0r0?
Regards,
