Hey, just a thought mate.
If the Drive does not work for you ( I dont see why it wouldnt, but you never know )
Are you up on the bits about SCSI?
Ok, first off, make sure its terminated.
For this, you dont need to bugger about with terminating the cable or anything like that as nearly all SCSI drives have a jumper on them to allow you to terminate the drive without any rubbish added to the cable ( all mine are ). have a look for this on the PCB of the HD, and if you can, short the connections out with a jumper ( you can do a few tricks, but I wont tell you just yet in case you are not sure? )
Also, try to make sure that the HD is set to ID0
Some Drivers dont care what its on, but AHDI looks for ID0 then ID1 then ID2 and so on, but if it does not find ID0, it wont bother looking for ID1 ( and nothing after it either )
So, set it to ID0 for safe bets.
Also there may well be other jumpers on the Drive too! they can be pretty much anything, so try looking on the net if there are loads of them.
My original TT's 400MB Fujitsu Drive had tons of the buggers, while Quantums usually only have a few.
If you get stuck, you know where I am.
