Thanks mate. I'm sure it's something that's gonna annoy the hell out of me too!
If anyone else is following this, this is the setup:
Atari TT with 2mb RAM (I have an upgrade somewhere that I need to find) and an original internal Seagate ST 157N (48mb drive).
I install hddriver.sys so the system recognises it has a drive, I've since formated it, leaving the partition as is, and everything is working perfectly. There are no bad sectors. I set my prefs and save desktop.
But when I reboot, there is no harddrive. And boots in LOW REZ! So I reload hdriver.sys off the floppy and there it is, no loss of data etc, but no loading of Auto or .acc progs from the harddrive either- which is a pain!
