Okay. Have checked drive, and there is nothing else connected to it. I can copy directly to the disk and everything works fine- SO long as I boot up from floppy. This means I won;t be able to run a lot of my auto progs though such as Harlequin.

One other thing- there is a red switch box attached to the motherboard with 8 switches. All are set to off. Should maybe one of them be switched to on?

I promise to shut up about this then and just accept that it won't boot from HD.
