You have 14MB Real RAM, and you have se it up with 128MB VMEM yes?
How much of that have you actually used up?
I know that I can set it up for about double my real RAM and as long as I dont go silly, I can perhaps use up 75% of it no problems, but any more than that and I can have problems... Usually it just hangs on me.
To be fair, my Falcon has 14 MB and I find this more than enough because I dont use the Falcon for serious work, but on the TT before I upped the RAM for real, I found that outside was very touchy when pushed!
Oh, and this was with TTRAM... I had 4MB TTRAM at the time, I set it up as 8MB SWAP and I could use maybe 6MB before it gave me a slap.
STRAM I think it didnt do it, but I was at the time in the stage of running in TT / ST ram trying to see what does and does not like it, and under Outside it was quite important to sort out thigns like this cos I only had 2MB STRAM!!!
