Richard: Amiga Inc said they will make the new OE very simple to learn for new users. Let face it many users don`t know anything about Windows`9x. They only know how to press the Start button and start an apllication. And hte people that do know more are mostly irritated by the unflexability, unstablity and limitions by the OS.

Karl: The type has been decided. Amiga will launch an a500 like machines and appliances for mainly internet uses. (And off course other will develop their own Amiga Tech based computers) The Design and exact components haven`t been decide yet as it is best not to commit before the machine is actually close to being released. (But expect support for mainstream standards)

QNX and Linux have alot simularities but as they are both based on unix. Although QNX is alot more advanced and stable. (QNX is used for instance in Nuclear PowerPlants/ Space-Shuttles/International Space Station/etc) Amiga Inc is busy adding multimedia Layers and it`s own GUI to the QNX Neutino kernel.

And NO it won`t be an addon card for the PC. But there WILL be a developer card for the PC. As I already stated QNX and therefor also AmigaOS5.0 supports different CPUs. Like x86, PPC and many others including the NEW processor Amiga is going to use. Though this won`t be the optimal developers setup it will enable high volume Amiga development as most developers nowadays use PPC or x86 processor based systems.

Sincerely, Mike.
