really? That's... interesting I suppose :-) I mean, I do think there needs to be a different approach to law enforcement than the old "lock'em up and throw away the key", but it seems that with this system it might be a good career to go out there, get yourself in trouble, then kick back on the salary for a while!
Maybe the criminals should at least have to work for this salary - that would keep them busy too :-)
