That sounds about right. There's no sound coming from my machine at all. Fantastic. I had thought the chip in the Falcon was buffered, but obviously not. Is there a way of buffering the port (just in case I want to risk the scanner again)? Would one of those PC parallel switch boxes offer some protection?
