I know I have my old copy of Magic 5 you're welcome to!

Magic 5 before / after NVDI!

Well, the installation should make absolutely no difference, however, the order that they run in the auto folder will.

Let me explain ( Me, explain??? - RARE! )

Magic, unlike MiNT is a complete O/S. It is started up by a small BootLoader program, that in turn boots the actual Magic O/S.

When it first does this ( on a cold boot ) TOS is restarted, or rather, removed from RAM, and Magic is started instead, so it then resets itself from Magic and TOS is no longer in the system at all!

So, if you have some AUTO folder programs before the Magic Bootloader, they will be run twice! - once in TOS, then the Magic booter will soft reset into Magic, and then again in Magic.

So, you shoudl try to put the Magic Bootloader as soon as possible in teh auto folder.
