Ah, yes. That's apparently what the original configuration program did. I thought that no longer worked with v5.xx of the AB040 Toolkit. But perhaps you're still using v4.xx for some reason?

I believe Magnus Kollberg's GEM based configuration program was distributed with v5.xx. The one I appear to have used is a 40 kbyte executable, with a 40 kbyte RSC, from April '97.

IIRC, Doug's original configuration was based on some code from the Apex software. So, it probably only runs in true colour mode, though I would have expected it to swith to that by itself.
It does not work on my Eclipse/RageII at all, so I can't really test it.
