I am now thinking of IDE cables (maybe floppy/SCSI, you get the idea), move the conncetors a little closer and then push pins into the end two.

Maplins sell rows of these pins for penies and IDE cables are easy to get hold of too.

How does this sound? Would the cable be able to keep the BUS integrity?

Do you know which track to cut?
I think I read about it on the Czuba web site.
