Subject: RE: Converting a game to ATR format

Its called WAR.

A friend gave me a copy of this game, but didn't realize at the time that I would need the APE software and hardware to convert the data. However, my friends APE equipment is unavailable for now so I was hoping if someone could do the honors of converting this disk to ATR. Currently the game is in PRO format.

If this is one of those protected disks as mentioned in an earlier discussion can the data be converted to an ATR format through the APE software? I am assuming the PRO disk needs to be read thruugh APE so it can written to disk first then converted back to ATR image? Is this possible and will the data be ok or corrupted in the process due to the nature of the disk format?

I have old disk with WAR on it in ATR format, but it has degraded since then.

If you can help it would be most appreciated.
