well....the way I have mine is I have an A/B switch... on the A channel I have my cable television...and on the B channel I have my sega/snes/nes/atari/C64/Intellivision/pong... with this configuration I can just leave the switch for the atari on all the time, the nes and the rest work even if the atari switch is on, just the television doesn't....also, having the cable on its own thing keeps out any unwanted interference. good luck.
