Hi Bruce,
I'm sort of guessing here, but STacy uses SCSI right? If so, I think you may find it uses the same internal SCSI host adaptor as the Mega STE, which is not very compatible or good. If the hardware configuration does use the same internal host adaptor as the Mega STE, I suggest you change it over to a Link 96 for Mega STE, obtainable from System Solutions in the UK or ask them for the product distributor in your area. It is a much more flexible and compatible SCSI host adaptor with full support for the extended ICD command set.
As I said start, this is only useful if the STacy uses a SCSI host adaptor with the same internal interface to the mainboard as the Mega STE.
Hope you have some success with this:)

I recently bought a used STacy and the 20 meg drive was dead. I tried to swap in a Quantum Pro LPS drive (270 megs I think) and the STacy won't even recognize it. I tried a 2.5 gig drive, too but was 99% sure that the controller wouldn't be able to support it. Does anyone know of the limitations on the controller? Are there any specific parameters one must stay within when swapping the drive as far as cylinders/heads or size? Any help would be appreciated!
