I've brought many an Atari back from the dead, they've triumphed over the dustbin in the sky, however from what you are saying I gather I'd still be 50% knackered before even getting off the ground.

Literally I've nothing Atari related left, I sold off most of my stuff when I moved from the Borders and only had a vamped 520. It's totally gone - I THINK I could get some life out of it, but to be honest I'd prefer to just dustbin the mainboard and plonk an STE into the perfectly good case I have.
Let me know about postage, however in the meantime it sounds like I'd be requiring a number of parts to get this flying again. Number 1: floppy drive (always the first to go on my units)
