There's a mailing lists (aranym-users) where you can post your questions, and get answers in a matter of minutes. Check the home page.

I really don't know this one, but keep in mind that the "real" version of Aranym (I mean, the full-features version) is the Linux one...

You can connect to the Internet, but only on the Linux Version since the ethernet module runs under Linux.
Last, installing a Linux OS with the minimal components to run Aranym is a very good idea.
