you need to turn off cache and switch to 8Mhz. games arent likely to work in 16Mhz

you can do this with X-Control or with some simple utility which I cant remember. Do a google search and you will find it

I used to assign this program to my F keys under TOS 2.06 which makes it really easy to switch speed to whatever apps you want to use. :)
